How To Volunteer
Project Hope Community needs your help. We have multiple volunteer roles listed below. A background check is required before you can volunteer for any of the roles. We greatly appreciate your interest in helping us serve the greater Raleigh community!
Math & Reading Tutor

Must be at least 18 yr old to assist the students

Must have mastery of the subject area he/she will be tutoring

Give student good constructive feedback on progress

Have stable transportation

Must comply with policies, standards, and regulations set forth by Project Hope Community Leadership Team

Requirements: Need background check(over age 18). Under age 18 need recommendation from an adult
Curriculum Coordinator
Oversee that curriculum standards are met as set forth by the NC Department of Instruction to ensure students are proficient in math and reading at their grade level.

Create instructional materials

Conduct orientation of volunteers

Develop and evaluate pre and post-test assessments of students

Evaluate the progress of the students
-
Possess Associate Degree or higher in Education
